Hi mates,

While installing the security product “ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4” for Linux Desktop, the product appeared to have conflict with the security mechanism “SELinux”.

I received the following error message:

SELinux not supported.

I am not able to complete the installation.

If someone can provide help/guidance in this regard, it will be highly appreciated.

Hello,

I have a barracuda Model 210 web filter.

I plainly use this as a web filter in our small office so they can't access social networking media and other sites that is eating up a lot of bandwidth that will hinder our VOIP performance.

Our network is setup as a domain and the firewall works but when a user types https://www.domain.com/, though the domain is blocked, it will let them access it using https.

I tried blocking https and to no avail.

I am quite responsible for the problem I caused. I know we are not supposed to click email attachments with .exe extensions but out of curiosity I did and nothing happened at first. But as I restarted the computer, I saw several apps partially missing. Their icon and start Menu entries are still there but the applications are not. If I click any icon it says that the file is missing. The missing apps include my antivirus which is AVG free version. I reinstalled it and scanned but no threats were found! Moreover as I restarted my computer it again went missing. I installed Avira antivirus but it cant detect the threat. How to remove the threat?

I have Symantec antivirus installed in my computer and I set it to up-to-date. But it always shows a message that "Symantec Endpoint Protection Antivirus and Anti spyware protection definitions are out of date". And it shows a stop icon. I use windows vista business edition in my pc. Recently I it shows an error message in the screen.

The error is: Attention! Some dangerous Trojan horses affected in your system.

Windows vista business files corrupted.

This may lead destruction of important files 

I have scanned the pc with antivirus and windows defender also.

But the situation is same.

How can I solve this problem?

My computer's internet connection has been affected by spyware to the extent that I can no longer access it.

I am not sure how to save the antispyware program to a CD and then install it onto my laptop (my laptop does not
have a disk drive) and run it.

What should I do about it?

We have the same problem with our McAfee anti-virus, the "buffer overflow". Every few minutes, it pop-up a message box saying buffer overflow with some messages. 

It is distracting in our work, if we close it, It will pop-up again.

What are we doing is drag it to the low side of our monitor to keep it hidden without closing it. 

Do we need to replace our anti-virus?
