I have recently tried to install Kaspersky 2010 on my computer but I have encountered a problem. While installation it says. "Installation ended prematurely because of an error." I still cannot get what is the error.

This is very annoying problem.

I have been using Nokia X2-00 model. It was manufactured in Tamil Nadu. Since it is not a dual sim mobile, I sometimes take out my Airtel sim card and insert my TATA sim card and notice that all the call history of those calls which was made/ received or missed when my airtel sim was in use were cleared. The same happens when I insert my Airtel sim card back or any other sim card. I don't want this to happen.

My mother is also using the same model, it is manufactured in Gurgaon but she does not face this problem. In fact she can't delete even a single entry. Why is it so? The same has been noticed in Samsung Champ GTC3003

Is there a solution to this? Please help me!.

Well, a few weeks ago I was using my netbook without problems. But then one day, as I turned my netbook on, a message was displayed, "error communicating with kernel".

The message came from my anti-virus, ESET NOD 32.

From then on, Every time I turn my netbook on, all I can see is the wallpaper, NO Icons, NO Taskbar, NO Start menu, there is nothing. I tried Ctr-Alt-Del, the task Manager shows up, and through that I can open anything.

Please help me.

The last resort would be reformatting my netbook.

I still want to revive everything in any way.

It happened to me a few days ago and since then I couldn't get connected to the internet from that computer no matter what I did.

I then went to my notebook and read a few articles about conime.exe and how it might affect incoming traffic as well as how to remove it.

I have searched for it in my notebook, and there was no trace of conime.exe where as in my desktop computer was.

Should I consider deleting it through unlocker as reinstalling Windows didn't quite do the trick?

(that's the only viable way I have read about).

I have an external hard disk. I used to take my system backup into the external hard disk. For some reasons, my friend took the hard disk and after returning I scanned the hard disk with Microsoft essential security antivirus.

I found that the hard disk is virus corrupted. I quarantine the virus and found that all data was gone but in the properties of the hard disk it shows the exact size of the hard disk.

Now I wonder where the data has gone.

Do I need to run some data recovery software in the hard disk.

Please assist me in this case.

Sometimes in the directory folders I have some hidden viruses which I don't know of. They are too dangerous for my computer and basically I don't have any awareness about this matter. So please guide me about this and then how to use my system safely.

I find it hard to notice the viruses that really harm my computer. My computer was recently reformatted because of the virus that I haven't noticed. The compilation of the unified list of viruses is made difficult because of naming.

Can someone let me know about the computer viruses?

1 year ago I downloaded Kaspersky Anti Virus 2010. Now, its license has been expired. So I went to uninstall it. Unfortunately, I am not able to uninstall or remove it from my computer. It’s creating a great problem as I have to use another antivirus along with KAV2010.It also makes my laptop slow. Please help me out guys
