I am using ESET NOD 32 version 4 as an Antivirus for my laptop. I am very satisified by this software, it had never let me down yet. I had been using it for about two (2) years now. Just recently at school, my classmates passed around a USB Stick that contained our project on a school subject.

When I plugged the stick, my laptop detected the USB stick but it was not present in the "My Computer" folder. I couldn't access it. I plugged and unplugged the USB but nothing worked, still my laptop detects the USB but not present in  "My Computer".

Before that ESET detected a virus in that USB,then I just clicked "Ok" without reading the content of the notification. And now I have a problem with it.

I am using Avast, a free Antivirus. I don’t use the internet regularly. Yesterday when I was scanning my PC I got some viruses but Avast was unable to delete those files. The viruses are: TROZ_FAKEAV. HKZ, TROZ_DROPPR. FB, JS_FBJACK. B etc.

What is the severity of those viruses? How can I delete those viruses?

I just want to consult my problem on my laptop my OS is Windows 7 a notepad that named desktop.ini  is always appearing after i delete it now all of my files, subfolder, and also my hard drive disk has it too. I remove it once using AVG anti virus but they are still  automatically coming back on my computer

I can't download or install updates or the system restore. I need help for the system restore to come back as I cannot restore. The updates are the same. It is not updating. Please help.

Recently I have downloaded AVG Antivirus software on my computer. I have tried to install it on my computer and run it. But it does not work properly. When I try to run the Antivirus it shows that while downloading it encountered a problem. How can I solve the problem.

I have updated Norton Antivirus, but I recently found out that the Antivirus does not detect the severe "Trojan" when I insert my flash drive from my personal computer to another computer. What is the best solution except reformatting my computer to detect and delete the virus?

How to make desktop free from Virus attachments? We use pen Drives and Internet downloading application frequently. We can define safe sites for virus free downloading. So many free antivirus software's are not giving good performance. It is compulsory to use License version Anti Virus.

Please suggest good anti virus for Desktop usage.
