I have installed a new game named as Need For Speed Rivals. It's a very good game but the problem I am facing with this game is worsening it and troubling me. I have a perfect and working sound card and all the sound settings are fine. When I play this game no sound is heard and the in game sound is also working fine. Similarly, I can play music and other games but not of this game. Is it because of some virus? Helpers are welcomed.

Just today, I downloaded some software that installed omniboxes. I am unaware of what is this and just installed since the software is free but it has installed funny browser, and I know that this is some sort of a virus. I don't know how it passed on my three antivirus software (ESET, Windows Defender and Iobit). I scanned my computer system but it remains undetected. I also uninstalled from the Control Panel and removed all its traces but it's still there. I used other browsers but it also redirects to omniboxes. Is this a malware or any form? Are there anyone here who encountered the same? If so, can you tell me how did you manage to remove it from your system? I don't consider reformatting my computer. I'm sure there is a way to fix this. Please help!

Hi! I badly need some help from you guys! I accidentally downloaded a very bad malware and I was unable to get rid of it. Some applications like Optimizer Pro keeps installing by themselves and it's totally annoying because once they are installed, I will manually uninstall them on the Control Panel and clean my PC with CCleaner and ADWCleaner. After this, everything will be back into normal. But after 3 or 5 minutes or if I restart my computer, same thing will happen again. My dilemma is happening for 3 days now and I really want a quick yet effective solutions for this.

But is it safe to share your WiFi connection with others, I mean with strangers? I do have a password protected WiFi and only I know the password. I have a computer that has been infected by the Crypto 3.0 virus. I had tried removing the virus previously, and i thought i had succeeded since the crypto screen was not showing up. Afterwards, i ran the Emsiss emergency kit and the rogue killer & bytes root kit and so far, i am able to access the internet but not able to view any pictures or even documents. I have downloaded MyPc backup by JDiBackup by mistake and this is a virus. My machine is now being attacked and this program cannot be found in the programs section. I found a suspicious program and whenever I attempt uninstalling it, it displays a message saying ‘wait until all the other programs have finished uninstalling’, yet there is no other program being uninstalled. I am running windows 7. Help me get rid of this and save my information.
