I have this version of OS that cannot be flashed for another (HP EVO T20) and I want to use it to put a client box for guests in the house so that nothing is to be put out of commission to be used. I just have a general idea of what to do but not completely sure. What would I have to do to make it a VM box? I also have an HP Proliant ML370 that I can use as a host for various other things. I heard about vmware a few times now. It can help to run an OS through another OS. I want to run windows xp as it is essential for work and I know that xp is the most modifiable software in terms of security. If I use Vmware, will I be required to install drivers for windows to work properly?

I am using a HP laptop and utilising two OS simultaneously through VMWare, hence distributing the RAM between both OS, but now I have realized that both OS are working very slow, is it something to do with the version of OS, because I am using the most basic versions of both OS, I am just curious to know the internal architecture of different OS through VMWare?

My MAC fails to open a session for the Virtual Box machine. I run on my laptop OS X and on my previous OS Windows 8 I didn’t experienced any error.
