Vulnerabilities
Hi! All,
I am having a terrible problem in my PC. I guessed it's a virus problem and I ran a scan. The virus was detected and "Security Tool" is the name of it and still trying to get it resolved, but I am helpless. Does anybody have any suggestions regarding it? Please help as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Hi!
My computer seems to be running slow than usual. Whenever I open an application, it takes longer to respond and sometimes my application hangs-up. My internet connection is also slow. I noticed it when I downloaded a small file on the internet, it should only take a minute or two, but it took me more than 15 minutes. My computer also freezes and I’m not able to move the mouse and use the keyboard.
What is causing these problems on my computer? I already ran a Antiviruses scan, and also defrag my hard drives, but it doesn’t help. My computer is still slow.
Thank you.

Hi!
I am using Windows 7 in my desktop computer. My CPU is core 2 duo 2.2 GHz with 2 GB of RAM. From a long time I am facing several problems caused by unwanted malware/ virus/ spyware. My computer became slower and slower. It takes a long time to start and shut down. Sometimes it gets stuck with a program and shows a blue screen.
I am not using any Antivirus or internet security. What can I do to fix my problem? Should I use internet security and what should I buy for this? There are different software's in our local market. Such as Kaspersky, Norton and NOD32. Please consider my problem and give a solution.
Thank you.

It has been three days since I last used my personal computer at home because I am now really irritated. I am using Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Operating System. I am suspecting that a virus has attacked my computer. Since I do not regularly update my Antivirus software, I just realized that I should, because of this problem that made my computer busted.
I need to access my command prompt, but I could not, because whenever I am typing cmd, my computer shuts down. I always use shortcuts. When I go to my accessories manually, I can still go to command prompt, however if this is caused by virus, once and for all, this should be stopped!
Somebody help me please.

My computer is devastated with viruses. Almost my .exe files are infected. I tried to scan it using a free version of the Avast virus scanner but it seems that the repair option doesn't work.
If I try to delete the infected files then things would get bad. M installed programs won't work. I do have an option of reformatting my computer but that would be the last option but if only I could repair the .exe files manually then that would be a better option. By the way the virus is win32/Salit. I don't have an Idea about this virus or where I got it from.

I have experienced some virus attack on my PC. As I use Windows XP service pack 2 this seems much vulnerable to viruses as I have seen some attacks of Trojan virus, win sality and many other viruses. But I have one question. Are those viruses capable of damaging the Hardware of the computer? If those are not capable then is there any other virus which can do any damage to the hardware?
I am just curious about this thing and i think it can be helpful to take security measures to defend against those viruses as those are much dangerous than those which just cause damage to the software or the system. So I think this is a very important question about security. I hope someone will answer it as soon as possible to make us aware of this type of dangerous viruses.
