I am using Windows 7 Professional I and am trying to restore a file to its earlier version. However, the file could not be restored and I am getting a message that it contains corrupted files. Would it solve the problem if I reinstall Windows 7 using the CD? What other ways can I do to solve this problem?

I am used to finding files in my computer’s folders and external drives using the “Search” command in XP. Does Windows 7 have the same type of search option?

There is a user in my company who recently upgraded into a new computer with an OS of Windows 7. The "My Documents" folder of her computer is linked to the private folder on a drive in a shared network. Recently, the folders and files she had deleted from the My Documents folder keep on reappearing; either within the same day or the next day ahead, but regardless of the date, the thing is they keep on reappearing.
She mentioned that most probably it has something to do with the libraries in Windows 7, though I am not sure.
What can we do to stop these from reappearing?

Recently I formatted my computer and installed Windows 7 but I couldn't find my driver disks which were included with the graphics card, motherboard, and the other parts. I have downloaded Speccy, and the following are the parts of my computer:
*The motherboard is P6X58D-E.
*My Optical Drive is an ATA device, brand is HP DVD Writer 1270d.
*I use GeForce GTX 460 as my graphics card.
My network card is integrated, and besides I can go online so I think this is fine. However, if I decide to update my motherboard, will the network card be up-to-date as well?

I have searched the web, have read a lot of forums and threads but still I can't find anything similar, or even something that close, with the problem I have encountered last night. I have downloaded a freeware called Video Pad which I thought was safe. While installing, I left my computer for a while. Upon my returned, it was breaking my hard drive. I got shocked as there were no error messages. I could only witness how the icons were disappearing one by one from the desktop.

My computer's OS is Windows 7. The problem now is that it does not boot into NORMAL mode. It only boots with the SAFE mode. Worse is whenever I restart the computer, the system only gives me two choices: either SAFE mode or SAFE with Networking Normal mode.
If I choose Safe mode, Windows does not react to any hard network connection. I do not know how to get Windows back to the NORMAL mode. Any suggestions and advices will be appreciated. Thanks a lot!

My Toshiba Satellite Laptop did not boot properly. Its OS is Windows 7 and it does not have a CD/DVD drive. The system message said, "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation."
I already changed the settings (F2), checked the BIOS, used the safe mode, tried last configuration, even the F8 command did not work. I even attempted to use Toshiba recovery or F10, but only the black screen has appeared showing the messages, "Edit Windows boot options for: Windows 7", Partition: 2, and [/No EXECUTE=OPTION] where ENTER or ESC are the only options.

I set up a daily schedule for restoring creation point but when I tried to restore, no schedule has been created and just now, my microphone is not working anymore.
I was wondering what happened because I am sure the set schedule was working before.
I modified its settings so that it will work whether I am logged in or not. I did not find any restrictions that would hinder it from working.
The following are the actions done:
a) Time based triggers.
b) Browsed the folder directory C:program filesdeltacaddeltacad.exe
c) Plugged on a 240V power.

Recently I tried to move all of my User's folders from drive C: to drive D:. I moved my folders successfully, like My Documents, My Pictures, Contacts, My Videos, and other folders except for the Desktop folder. When I tried moving it an error message shows up, either "Folder Redirection Failed" or "Operation was cancelled by the user." It happens after I copied all the folders and data to the other drive. I tried to modify the folder location for this folder many times but everytime I move it, this error message shows up.
