I recently won a MacBook AIR 11" 64GB laptop from a promo. I have always been a Windows user and I never had experience with Mac OS. I was wondering if I could format it and install Windows 7 over Mac OS. I don't want to use a virtual machine or Dual boot. I only want Windows running on it.

Is it possible to do so? Would there be harmful effects if I did?

I recently purchased a computer for my parents from a local store just a block away from my parent’s home. My computer was installed with a 4 gigabyte RAM memory. But when I checked via the computer properties only 3gig of RAM is recognized. I initially asked the store why that happens. He told me that I need to upgrade to 64 bit version to utilize the whole 4 gig of RAM.

Is there any truth in this? Should I upgrade the OS, what are the costs of this upgrade?

I have a Windows 7, Mac and Ubuntu operating systems on my computer. I always get problems with the Windows 7 operating system because it keeps catching viruses.

The thing is Mac and the Ubuntu have never given me any problems concerning viruses. Please why is that so?

Can the Windows 7 Antivirus integrate into the system to block Internet or network access upon detecting a virus or threat that could not be contained?

I am using Windows 7 operating system.  I downloaded a document converter which seemed to be a virus and I deleted the application and ran a routine virus scan (am using Avast).

Since the operation, my accessories folder from start menu went missing. Can I retrieve it?

How can I get my Windows 7 Aero features working?

After upgrading my laptop from XP to Windows 7 Enterprise edition, the Aero features or visual effects are not working.

These include visual Aero Glass effects, themes and transparencies.  

My laptop passed the system requirement.

I have 2 G of RAM with NVIDIA driver that supports Aero. Any settings that I can configure?

I am currently using Windows starter as my OS.  I want to upgrade it to Professional or Ultimate.  Are there any rules when upgrading OS?

Especially Windows 7, because I have heard on the other websites, it is difficult to upgrade, because some of the software may not be compatible with it.

I'm having a setup here. But along the while the error came up. I don't know why I have this error.

I have an OS running good and fine Windows7 all good to me.
