Windows 7
I have an administrator account on my PC and I had changed it's password few days ago. For some days, I was out and now, I have forgot the password of my system. I'm currently running my PC from a 'Guest' account(which I always have). How can I recover the administrator password of my system?

I run my PC on Windows 7 and I often change the settings of my PC.
' Do you want to change the settings?' click on OK.
' Do you want to change the settings?' click on Apply.
So, what is the difference between OK and Apply on any version of Windows though they have similar function?

Yesterday, as always, windows asked me to restart my pc to complete the installation of new updates. After this process was done, I restarted the system and noticed a watermark at the bottom of my screen. It was then that small pop-ups appeared saying that my system has not been properly activated or was fake. I have an original version of windows home premium which I activated online. Help?

I have a computer running Windows 7 home premium edition. All of a sudden, the computer began booting to a blank screen when I put it on. I tried opening it in safe mode, which it did, and checked the task manager but saw nothing unusual. However, when I attempted to end a process named WSCRIPT.EXE*32 and rebooted the PC, it did start well. I restarted it again to check whether I had miraculously solved the problem but I had not. I repeated the safe-mode procedure and it worked. I don’t want to be doing this every time I put my computer on. Help me find a solution. Thanks.

My Windows 7 PC has an Intel Core i3 550 CPU with a processing power of 3.20 GHZ. It also has a 4GB RAM. The problem is that this computer is so slow for no reason at all. Installing an application is a nightmare since you have to wait for a couple of hours. Streaming a video leads to lags all through even though my internet connection is 45Mbps. Please help me find a solution for this.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed on my system. Last week, I checked my PCs experience index and it was 4.2. Today I ran the test again and the Windows Experience Index now is 4.5. It means that the index has increased by 0.3. How can I increase the Windows Experience Index to improve the overall performance of my PC?

I used TCPview and found out that Windows explorer.exe always maintains a constant link to wns.windows.com. I have tried deleting these links but they are restored almost immediately. I have disabled the store but it doesn’t help. Anyone with an idea on how to get rid of them completely?

I own a Toshiba PC that has Windows 7 installed. Just the other day, it started flashing the screen blue whenever I try to boot and eventually it does not boot. I thought the problem was temporary and attempted to restart it severally but I am not able to solve it. I have removed the battery and tried booting while connected to power and still no solution. Could it be a virus? Or is it a hardware issue? How can I retrieve my files?

I have updated my Windows 7 operating system few days ago on my laptop but I'm having a lot of issues like the CPU usage is high for no reason and RAM is also used highly. It is all because of updates because the laptop was fine before applying any updates. What can be done to remove Windows updates?

I'm currently on Windows 7 and I have installed it on my PC just yesterday. Today morning, I got some updates from Microsoft so I granted the permission to download them. After the download, the system suggested me to restart my PC and after the boot, a screen came and it said applying Windows updates. Later on, 6 of 47. At this very moment, my PC freezes. What should I do next?
