How can i configure windows 7 to share files to a specific user on the same network such that others cannot access the files, copy the files or even better they cannot even see my machine on the network. Is there any software i can use or any advanced settings i can do

I have a desktop computer that I would wish to install Ubuntu along with windows 7, the problem is whenever I install Linux the windows will not display on booting and when I repair, the Linux will not show. How can I make the two to exist at the boot menu? Is this possible and how can I do this.?

Hi! I decided to change OS from Linux to Windows 7. I changed boot devise in BIOS, everything as usual, insert CD, but after sometime system lost connection with CD and somehow started to load Linux by itself, Then I had to restart my computer and after that I have only black screen with message "fixed disc: (and its number)". Now I can't install anything, not Windows nor Linux. Please assist.

Hi! I have problems with hibernation, it works time to time, not always which bothers me a lot. For example, if I press the button 2-3 time only after that it goes to hibernation and doesn't come back easily, just showing ACER picture. Sometimes pushing power button couple of times helps me. My friend told me that the problem could be in installed intel rapid technology. Laptop ACER v3-772g.

Hi! I forgot to move files from old desktop to new one and I have already deleted Windows.old folder. I haven't format disk yet, so I tried to find it with different programs, such as Recuva, but it simply did not see it in root of disc C, as if it was never there. Can you please some programs for that, better ones.

Hello everyone!The situation is the following: there are about 200 computers in domain, but stations with Windows 8.1 can be visible only to 5 computers in the network.  How to fix this issue? Hello! I have a problem with time and date in my laptop, after starting windows it shows 01/01/2006 00:00 am. I change it all the times, but each time after restarting the system it goes back. It bothers me because I can't use any website unless I change date and time. I tried to change battery but it did not help, right now my solution is simply do not turn off laptop, but I need to fix it. Thank you 

I try to create internet connection with PPPoE, but after login/password input i press Next and loads till the middle and then says something like "Sorry, but we have to restart your computer" and after system offers to send report to Microsoft and nothing more. The only thing that worked was installing Windows 7, but I want to go back to Win 8, so please advise what can I do?

Hi! I need to reinstall windows but when I tried to enter setup in BIOS it asked me for password. My laptop is pretty old and i have bought it from my friend, so I don't know which password should be there. I tried couple of samples that I found in forums but nothing worked. How can I change boot devices priority without entering setup? What can i do to unlock BIOS?
