Windows Networking
A huge corporation has 40,000 employees with their own related IP addresses and it works with around 400 servers that consists of SMTP, POP3, File Transfer Protocol, Web and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol in two places that are 20 miles apart from each other. The Dual T1 lines is accumulating a bandwidth of 3,088 Mbps that connects the two sites.
Each site consists of 200 employees and servers. It works with various separated subnet in a Class B address of the company. Now, I want to know what if I setup a single DNS server on two places, can someone explain how the two sends support with each other?

Dear all,
I have set up a network on two computers. One computer is a Dell machine running on Vista, while the other one is an AMD (Advance Micro Device) which has Windows XP on it. My network was working perfectly fine until one day, the AMD stopped sharing files with the Dell. I am not sure how or why this happened. Please help me solve this issue.
The error code is this: “Error Code: 0x80070005 access denied". This error appears every time I try to connect the two computers, along with another error that says, "Windows cannot access \computer name".

Hello,
On my Windows XP operating system, I am not able to connect to the internet linked with a LAN line.
I have tried to find help from other forums and have followed a service but that was not working (DHCP CLIENT) and I'm getting an error 1075:
“System error 1075 has occurred.
The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.”
I believe it means that NetBT has to be set up, but that is nowhere to be started.
Then I tried a few things through Windows XP installer disk but it didn't work.
Lastly, I tried to system restore, but it was not working either for all the restore points.
All of these have been done on safe mode.

Hi experts
I am using Windows 8 operating system and Cnet CWP-854 does not work in my operating system!! Then I tried to install it in Win7 x64 drivers but still it is not working. Ralink RT2561ST Chipset.
I tried with TP-Link TL-WN851N. Both works fine with own windows drivers and TP-Links own Win7 x64 drivers. Need some information about this. Thanks a lot.

I am running several computers in my network. My problem occurred after I had a server upgrade from Windows 2003 R2 to Windows 2008. It all went so well during my first 12 hours after the upgrade it was even able to connect to the internet. But after that, I started to receive this update dialog box on .NET Framework 2.0 setup. It does not ask me anything but just telling me to wait until it is done updating. So I just left it to do the updating. After the update thingy, all my networks are running very well, it was even assigned each with an IP address. Then this .NET Framework 2.0 asked me to reboot to complete the update or in order to let the updates make changes with the computer. And since this is standard procedure, I just rebooted it.

I want to change the IPv4 tunnel to IPv6 tunnel. I have PC with windows 7 that is connected to IPv6 and my client and server is connected with IPv4.
I want to manage the traffic of client and server with IPv6 tunnel so I tried to set IPv4 interface in windows but it seems that routers do not support IPv4. Is there a possibility that I can configure my windows to support IPv4 to IPv6 tunnel because there is other way possible that one can configure from IPv6 to IPv4?

While connecting Windows 7 client PC with Win 2003 DC through Remote Desktop, the PC does not find the server name in the explorer and returns the message after some delay “Windows cannot access \ServerName. The IP address and domain can be pinged fine. Is Win 7 Client supporting the connection with Win 2003 or are there any other recommended settings for connecting with my Win 2003 DC?

How I will ping and manage my Windows XP SP3 Clients (DHCP) from my DC (WinServer2003 R2) when they both obtain their IP addresses from the same DHCP server? How can I make my DC to function as a controller to manage my Windows XP clients and is there any need for Windows XP clients to modify their recommended settings of DHCP to obtain their IP addresses that ping DHCP and DC?
