Recently, I installed Ubuntu 11.10 on my Gateway MX8711 laptop. I got my Wi-Fi running fine during this process. I downloaded all the updates after the installation. After rebooting it, I got an issue on the Wi-Fi signal detection.

My laptop doesn’t seem to pick up on the Wi-Fi.

Can you help me out with this problem? By the way, I am dual booting Ubuntu 11.10 and Windows XP.

I am receiving an error while trying to network to HP computer with Windows 7 installed. I have tried all possible solution in Microsoft website. But nothing worked. How can I resolve the issue?

I have installed lot of DHCP servers in various locations on DCs. I want to give permission for handling DHCP server in that site to a local administrator in a remote office. It should not allow access to all servers. If I create an administrator to the current local DHCP administrator group on ADUC, it will give access to all DHCP servers. I just want to give permission to only one DHCP server. Can anybody help?

Could I change the settings to modify the layout of Media Wiki for my website? There’s a continuous error prompt message shown, whenever I try opening the Wiki webpage in my computer. I tried to access by encoding http://www.localhost/directorypath.

However, when I try to put http://www.systemname/directorypath there is an automatic error shown. It doesn't run after that. The error displays “Page not found”! Why is it so?

I would like to inquire whether it is possible for us to stop our clients from altering their password for a short time. This is because we want to carry out some backup analysis and for this reason we would like to disable our network but not make any alterations or amendments to the passwords.

This is why we would like to know for the time being if we can stop our clients from changing their access codes.

I urgently require your help. I am currently operating a website that a firm hosts. This firm owns a Windows Server. Some time ago, I tried to ask their personnel in the Information Technology department information about file transfer protocol access information, they ignored the question and treated the matter as a by the way. Therefore I wound kindly like to inquire from you the way in which firms and companies whose websites are self-hosted transfer their files into their servers because I am not aware of any method other than File Transfer Protocol.
