Windows Vista
My computer is running on Windows Vista. Whenever I open it, a notification that updates should be installed is always popping up. After clicking the balloon and restarting it, the message will still appear. Is there something wrong with my system or the updates are just that quick?

Hi,
I’m an XP user, and I usually change the destination folder of favorites in internet explorer from it’s default position to another directory. And It is where I exclusively store all such files. But I’m not able to make similar changes of directory in Windows Vista UAC using IE7. I’m getting this unspecified error (please see image below).
Can someone please help me. Thank you.

Hi, I was using Gateway Recovery Center to reinstall Windows Vista 64-bit. In the middle of the process, the following error message suddenly popped out (see image below):
Install Windows
The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected
error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click
“OK” to restart the computer, and then restart the installation"
How can I fix it and proceed with the installation process?
Please help in this.
Thank in advance.

I have installed windows vista on my PC.
During internet browsing an error abruptly occurs on the screen.
The screenshot of the error is as under:

Expressions: list iterators incompatible
For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts.

Vista had no support for DOS, Win7 has support, but you must pay for it (with something more powerful than the 'home version'. What is the support for DOS with this new version? Until I can find a newer version that supports DOS (remember when Gates et al said it would ALWAYS be backward compatible?) and without having to pay through the nose for it, I'll stick with XP.
