In my windows vista I have only one user. I have changed the user name but the user path still shows with the earlier user name. I want to show my document path as C:UsersJurichDocuments.

How to change it?

I use to download too many files from net. Also deleting maximum files except useful files. Now I am facing a problem in search files. When I am searching the pc then getting the result with the deleted files. this makes my job difficult and I really don’t want the search results with deleted files.

Experts please help me.

When I start my computer the speed meters of my slidebar shows the memory is full about 70% and when I start my fire fox or any other browser then the computer memory gets full about 100% and it occurs an illegal shut down.

I am tired of this problem and I causes loose of all opened program and data before it shuts down.

My laptop is Compaq Presario C500 and it has built in Windows vista basic. I am running it since 2007 and now I want to reset windows vista. I tried to made a Backup DVD with Built in "Recovery manager" but it fails and saying that the recovery DVD has already taken which is allowed only once, I am sure I did not made any recovery DVD. However I need a recovery DVD deadly. Can any one Please help me?

I am facing a problem when browsing the files. There is an error message appears with the following text:

The program requires the file advrcntr2.dll, which was not found on this system.

Please note that I am not running any program but trying to browse the files only.

However the error happens with the folders that contains .dat file types.

Please see the attach image.

I run Windows Vista SP1 64 bit. Whenever I try to update windows, It starts the update and stops at 70%. My internet connection is good, so, it's not the problem.

My computer is not playing MP3 Audio files any more. I think it happened after I installed Vista SP1. When I double click on the MP3 Audio file, nothing happens. I have Audio playing programs like Windows Media Player and VLC. Where did the problem come from?
