As a result of damage manifest files, Windows X86 Vista Service Pack 1 failed to install. How can I install it successfully after having these damaged files? Can I still Install the SP1?

The dependency service or group failed to start is the error I am receiving with my Windows Vista PC.

I also don’t have any internet connection, and I have a red X mark on my system tray.

What is the fix for this?

I need help with updating my system. I have downloaded an update for Windows Vista but it’s not installing.

I get the Error 646 when I try to install this update on my system. 

Windows is showing that this update has been successfully downloaded on the system and when I try to install it, the system restarts as if it is being installed.

But after the loading time, I realize that no update has been installed. The system keeps on showing that the update has failed to install. I first came across this issue on 12th of December 2008, and since that day I have been unable to update my system.

Please help me update my Windows!

Why do I need to download and install Hotfix in order to install Inventor 2012 on my Windows Vista? Any ideas?

I recently installed Card Studio 2012 Deluxe.

The installation went well but when running it, an alert pops up with error “An Unexpected error has occurred and the program must close".

I am running Windows Vista 32-bit PC.

I have tried hard but I am not able to run gpedit.msc. I am using Vista Home Premium. When I open 'run' and try to run gpedit.msc, it does not seem to be running. I am not sure what way to take in 'REGEDIT'.

Please read each and every line of this before you reply. I have been searching on Google for 5 hours looking for an answer but I cannot find anything.

I upgraded Peachtree 2009 Complete Accounting to the latest version which is 2012. I am running Windows Vista SP2 32-bit PC. The problem is, I am getting a random error stating “Peachtree Accounting has stopped working – A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.” It’s a bit annoying now. I need help!
