Windows Vista
I am using an HP desktop with Windows Vista 32-Bit running on it. I also have AOL 9.6 on it.
Everything is running well. However, I’m starting to have issues after installing McAfee Total Protection Suite. It started to freeze and hang with a blank white box and a red X mark on the upper portion and an OK button. I searched for online help and resolution and found out that the only way to resolve this is to re-install AOL 9.6.
But after uninstalling and reinstalling the software, the issue is still present. I called AOL and they just said it is a common issue and advised me to delete every file that is connected with McAfee to no luck.

Hi there,
I am having problem with opening some folders/ applications.
First I had a problem with opening files from my external drive (that are back up files). All files aren’t infected or anything.
Now I have a problem when I want to open some files/application on HDD.
On my system I am running Windows Vista Home 64bit. Is there any solution for this problem?
Thank you

Can somebody help me because whenever I turn on my computer these two types of messages shows up, Failed to create the database and on the left corner of this window it says Fax Utility and the system cannot find the file specified.
There is also a message on my left top screen that says, Fax utility, Event Manager Failed to create database.
The system cannot find the file specified.
What are these errors and how can I stop them from appearing on my Windows Vista computer?

I was told that someone can be able to access a hidden folder from C:Program FilesApplications. Unfortunately I am admin on OS as well but I cannot access the folder.
I have attached pictures of the error messages that I get.
Thanks for helping!

I am not a pro when it comes to IT related issues. I wanted to download the weather network into my windows vista basic. I was able to download the program which includes weather eye and weather maps. The download was completed but when I tried to run the program, an error saying APPLICATION NOT FOUND comes out. I also get the same error message when checking my email inbox and any hyperlink in my system is not working. I am wondering whether anybody out there is having the same problem as mine. I presume maybe this has something to do with my operating system? Any idea

I’m using Vista platform and about two days ago I started getting this error every time I tried to run a program, except for MSWord and Windows Messenger.
C:WindowsSystem32Version.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.
I cannot even install an Anti-Virus Programs which many forums I read suggest, because I get the error message right before the Setup Wizard starts. I am totally lost and would greatly appreciate any help.
