Windows Vista
Hi,
I have an Acer Aspire laptop that runs a Windows Vista Home Premium Edition. It is preloaded when I bought the laptop. And everything on my laptop is also preloaded including the drivers for software’s and other applications. But I was surprised to see an alert box to Activate Windows Now. For all I know, I am using a genuine version of my operating system for a long time. On the alert box, there are choices to troubleshoot the problem. It is to :

Hi,
I have a problem on how to connect my mobile to the computer.
I use Nokia PC Suite 6.84 Release 10 and my mobile phone is N Series.
And my operating system on my laptop is Vista.
While I was installing the Nokia PC suite the following pop up error appears :
Error writing to file: C:Config.Msie96973.rbf. Verify
that you have access to that directory.
Is it a problem with my Operating system or with the version of the Nokia PC Suite?
I cannot connect my mobile to the Laptop.
Is there someone who can tell me how to ignore or remove this error from appearing?

Hi all,
I have installed a lot of photo editing software in my computer and I mostly work on pictures. I have a lot of pictures to browse, but by double clicking it, it uses adobe Photoshop to view the file, which takes longer time to open. What I want to use is the windows photo gallery.
How can I make windows use the photo gallery whenever I will double click it?
Thanks.

Hello,
Vista forces to restart every morning. It started about a couple of days ago. Every morning at 8:00 a message shows up saying "A program has finished running and requires that your computer be restarted" and the only options to choose from is hide and restart, you can't prevent from restarting.
My question is, what is that program that has finished running and why would it require the windows to restart? It is really annoying. How can I fix this?
Thank you.

Hi all,
Whenever I try to expand the folder via clicking the small triangle next to it, it takes too long for it to expand, maybe a minute or so. This is really bothering me especially when browsing folders. I also looked at my task manager and seen nothing that would slow down my PC.
Is there a way to fix this? How?
Thanks.

Hi all,
When I look at the clock in the taskbar, I notice it is about 3 hours slow. This usually happens when I turn my PC everyday. I tried synchronizing it with the Internet clock, but it still the same. It still shows the slow time. I have scanned my PC, but nothing is wrong.
Is this normal? Help me to set correct time.
Thanks.

Hi everyone,
I have a 8 GB USB stick and I share it through the network with my co- workers in the office. What I notice is every time my computer shuts down or restarts, my USB device is no longer shared to my officemates' computers. So I have to set it to share again and again whenever my computer restarts. What I have to do to make the network share my USB device indefinitely?
Thank you.
