Windows Vista
Hi,
I was copying files(it was about 900 MB in total) to my USB flash drive and as I watched the copying in progress bar, it stopped halfway. I waited for almost 30 minutes and still no progress. So clicked cancel, but it asks if I allow to end and restart explorer. exe, so I did. After that my computer became so slow. I checked in the task manager and shocked to see explorer. exe uses about 50% of CPU. I assume that's the cause, so I tried to end process . I click end process, and confirm, but nothing happens. Explorer. exe is still there eating up CPU resources.
How can I get around this? I don't want to turn my computer without shutting down properly.
Thanks.

Hi,
I am trying to run an application. I just downloaded, but after I clicked it's shortcut icon in the desktop, the just-in-time debugger shows up and it is no use to click ok or cancel, it just won't run the software. I really need to use that software.
How can I get around this?
Thanks.

I am using Windows Vista ultimate.
The problem with me is that, whenever I try to delete temp files from my computer, I most of the time get error as below:
Error Deleting File or Folder
Cannot delete Folder: It is being used by another person or program
Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.

Hi all ,
How can I pursue the Installation when these error messages flash on the screen?
A Disk read error occurred. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del
I have Asus desktop computer with an old operating system Windows 98 and have to change it to Windows Vista.
My CD installer of Windows Vista is genuine license. After booting the devices in BIOS set up when I inserted and read the CD from the CD ROM after 30 mins of loading the warning message came out.
I repeat the consequences but still that error still exists.

Hi to all readers,
I am having difficulty to make my screen saver work. This is working perfectly fine before. As far as I know, there are several changes I did on my computer, but I do not know which of these affected my screen saver.
First, I installed Skype, Visual Basic 6.0 and Adobe Photoshop CS3. Second, I have upgraded my video card, and I switched from USB mouse to wireless mouse, and lastly I changed my desktop wallpaper.
Several options there, but I hope someone can help me. For additional information, my computer is running on Windows Vista.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,
A problem with my Vista computer just arose. The Show Desktop option to me is very in use and to my surprise, I cannot find it in my quick launch area. I have tried to right click the desktop to check if there is an add to quick launch option that is available just like in any other application, but there is none.
As of the moment, I am currently using the right click task bar, then click on Show Desktop. It also does the work. But, believe me, nothing is easier more than just clicking on the Show Desktop icon in the quick launch area.
I posted this question here as I am very much confident that you guys can be able to provide a solution on how to get my Show Desktop icon in my quick launch area.
Best,
Tim.

Hi,
First of all, I am not the only user of our desktop. So I cannot really say if there was a change in the configuration settings of our computer. But as for me, I did not change any thing.
Our desktop is operating on Windows Vista. The issue is that, I am seeing desktop.ini files on the desktop. I am afraid to delete it thinking that I may not be able to boot it again or I might ruin our computer. So as of the moment, I didn't do anything on it. What I want to know is how to get rid of it?
Please help me.
