I have a legal copy of Windows XP. But I receive a balloon from my task manager that says the copy of my Windows is not genuine. So when I try to validate it, the validation could not be complete. Why does it fail validation? I have the product key with me and when I bought my computer, the original Windows XP disk is also installed on my computer.

Now my whole desktop is black in color.

How can I validate it? Help please.

I am operating Windows 7 in my computer. But I need now the windows XP.

My computer was recently attacked by a Trojan Virus.

But I was able to fix it with the use of antivirus software installed on my Windows XP computer.

The problem is that after that attack, I can’t seem to access my task manager. When I right-click on the task manager itself, the option for this was greyed out. And even if I try opening it on the command prompt, I am still having error that it was disabled by my administrator.

How can I restore back my task manager?

Hope someone can help me with this issue. I am using paint.net on my Windows XP SP 3 machine. I downloaded the package from the website and installed it without any error message. Now after the installation I try to open the program and it tells there are some installation files missing.

The missing files are: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

I am using Windows XP Professional. I was facing a problem for a few days. 

The problem is that whenever I start my PC it shows a message:

“Navigation to the webpage is cancelled ”.

I am using Windows XP Professional. It has only 2 partitions. Windows program was installed in drive ‘C’ and drive ‘E’ was for storage purpose. A few days ago viruses cause some problem in PC. So I wanted to format my partitions. I formatted ‘E’ drive easily. But when I tried to format ‘C’ it shows a message:

“Can’t be formatted”.

What is the problem? Please help.

I want to use my mobile HDD which will be used as primary booting device. I also want to install windows operating system in that device.

I am trying to find the folder option of windows explorer in my PC. But I can not found the option. Where the option gone. I have tried several times by restarting my computer but same things happen. The folder option is not seen to my computer.

I have a question about windows firewall.  What is windows firewall? Is it to protect us from any unauthorized access? How can I setting windows firewall and what are the option setting for windows firewall. Please anybody give me a full description and step to understand that.

My operating system had some problem. So I re-installed it.  After re-installing of my OS. I updated the soft from Microsoft. When I checked the Add/remove list, they were not listed, as they always were before.

Is this a new thing or has something gone wrong?
