Windows XP
Hey I just needed to know if any one has an idea regarding the following:
Each time I start windows XP Professional, I get the following Error Message.
It says "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it. or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."
I never tried to install any thing However this thing still pops.

I Have Windows XP professional Installed on My IBM Desktop. My Daughter once curiously changed the login password and now she has absolutely no clue regarding what was the password she set.
I have Important Files on the system, hence formatting won't help much.
Please Suggest any thing to restore my computer back to life.
Thanks.

Please help me solve my problem while trying to play a downloaded movie. By the way, I am using Windows 7 Professional. I receive this particular warning message saying that the document could not be opened. Further, it says that the movie I am trying to play is not in a format that QuickTime Player understands. It also says that there is the need to install additional software to open the file.
I know that there could be lacking application in my system, but I do not know what it is and how am I going to have it. When I click on TELL ME MORE in the warning message, I only get information that does not come to my understanding.

I have Windows XP SP 3 machine on which I have installed the latest version of QuickTime 7.6.9 installed. Everything seems to work fine. I am able to play videos on my player.
But when I try to play movies on my QuickTime player I get this error message:
QuickTime was not found. Error #14404324. nnPlease install QuickTime on this computer.
I thought it could be an issue with a bad installation and tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it again. But even after that when I tried to play movies I get the same error message.
Please help.

Hey there,
I recently heard that windows has an option to increase the physical memory of the system using a flash drive. However I do not seem to find the option to do so. My computer has an internal physical memory of 256 MB which makes it sluggish. Do you have an option to increase its performance without actually upgrading it?
Many thanks,
Samantha
