Windows XP
Hi all,
I am having a problem with my Windows XP. There are some errors that keeps on popping and my computer seems to run slow. I thought this is caused by some virus, but my anti-virus cannot detect anything. So I decided to format my computer.
But after installing the windows I notice that the default drive is not C: I don’t want to change the drive manually in computer management because it is not safe. How can I change the drive letter back to C? Do I need format it again? And is there any problem if my windows run from a different?
Thanks.

Hey there Experts,
I am having a huge problem with logging in to my office PC problem. I am getting this error after the login:
C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32AUTOEXEC.NT
The weird thing is, when I ask one of my office mates to login, he encounters no such thing as this.
Any ideas why? And, what shall I need to do to resolve this?
Thanks.

Hi,
I am experiencing this problem on my office computer:
"The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively."
It is quite weird to have this issue, when just last week, I was able to get on it with no problem.
I was able to report it to our IT people, but as soon as possible. I would want to know, if there is anything I can do to fix this issue. I hate to say this, but our IT guys does so many things and I know resolving this will take time.
Thanks.

Hi there,
My sister and I are sharing on one desktop. It is running on Windows XP. We share the same desktop, but we do have our separate profiles.
My question is, if I installed an application, will it be possible that she will also be able to use the same application? Sorry, but I really wanted to have the application restricted.
Thanks.

Hello!
I have checked my personal XP computer for some of the applications that are not necessary on my computer.
And, I have seen some that does not appear on my add/remove programs.
I have checked the software as well, and it does not contain any uninstallation pack.
How do I completely uninstall it?

Hi,
We are having an issue with one of our software tools in our office PC. Pardon me, if I cannot specify the name of the tool, but actually it is not really the reason I posted.
Whenever the said software will not work on any of the profile, we have to do is to run the software in administrator, then once back on the normal user profile, it works. Now, it won’t even run on administrator. I am thinking this is related to administrator. Back profile I am seeing. Please advise.
Thanks.
