Hi,
I am quite confused about what has happened with my computer. When I begin to restart or shutdown my PC, it takes about 2-3 minutes for “Saving your settings” to shutdown, and then another 15-20 seconds for windows.
This is not the only case; even my system takes about 2-3 minutes to boot and load. I have an HP Pavilion, Win SP2, Pentium 4, 2.6 GHz, 1024 Mb RAM and 80 GB Hard Drive. Help needed.
Thanks!

Hey there,
- I would like to ask help with my recently reformatted computer. My computer was attacked by virus, so I will need to reformat. From Windows 2000, I updated to Windows XP.
- I am happy with the new set up except that whenever it loads, the password screen would still come up even though I do not have a password.

Hi All,
I hope you can help me out.
I am having an issue loading my profile on my Windows XP computer.
Aside from the Administrator, there are two profiles in there.
One is my sister’s and the other is one is mine. My sister’s profile does not have an issue, while mine does.
I am seeing this error:
Cannot load locally stored profile
When I click on OK, I no longer see my stuff. What to do? Help.

Hi,
My scanner for the OfficeJet J4580 did not work on my desktop using Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002, Service Pack 3. It will however work using the Dell Latitude Notebook running Windows XP Professional. If I use the scanner camera wizard "the computer cannot detect the scanner" appears. HP document manager says "no scanner found".

Hi,
I am having this problem for a week now and still wasn't able to find solutions for this. I don't remember any errors before shutting down my computer from the last time I used it. But since then, when I started it again, I am not able to continue booting in a normal way.

Hi friends,
Illegal System DLL relocation-RTHDCPL.EXE. I get this error all of a sudden. "The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application is not running properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:WINDOWSsyste32HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL contacted for a new DLL."
How to fix this?
And which vendor do they mean?
Please help.
Thanks.

Hey there,
I got a minor issue, not really urgent.
I am planning to reformat my laptop, but, I am having a difficulty finding my product key. It is a small stick on that. I regretted that I was not able to handle it with care.
Before I can reformat my laptop, is there a way for me to determine my product key?
Help, please.
Thanks.

I am encountering this error:
"The file 'Asms' on Windows XP Professional CD-ROM is needed."
I am currently installing Windows XP on my computer and I am seeing the error above. I would like to know, why this error is coming up. I am only just beginning to install and seems like there are issues already.
Please help me even make it to loading of Windows.
Thanks in advance.
