Windows XP
I’ve been irritated by the looks of my menu since yesterday. There is something glitch with my menu, things doesn’t seem normal to me at all so I decided to consult someone who could help me with my depression.
When I try to open a folder window and click any of the menus with a drop down option the drop down appears but it was completely transparent, and the menu text may be visible until I hover the Mouse pointer over the submenu.
Just take a look at the image and see how bad it is

I have a Windows XP machine on my Laptop. I week ago I Access User Account applet to add more users for my brother and sisters add some pictures and their desired password for each account. I Have created a total of 4 accounts with password.
I try to login each account and everything was fine.
Recently my sister forgot her password and wont able to login to her account. We try any possible combination but failed in the end. So I decided to just delete the account I’ve created and create a new.

I got this new desktop from my aunt running in Windows XP Home Edition. For about a week of using it develops some rare problem. The laptop was never reformatted since she gives it to me, she has a large of photos on “My Picture” folder, and arranged in several subfolders. There is a subfolder compressed with winrar and name the compressed file as x.rar.
Before, I can open the folder safely without having any problem. Until the day comes that I can’t access it anymore. Every time I open it freezes my computer. If I try to scan it with anti-virus (BitDefender) it locks up for about 10mins and then reboot.
Does anybody encounter same problem as mine? What are things you've done to solve this kind of problem?

I’m running my computer in a Windows XP Service Pack 2. I’ve created three accounts for me and my younger brother which is shown on my welcome screen. I enabled the fast switching so that I can log on to multiple user account. Recently I’ve been encountering some issue I lost my welcome screen and I wasn’t able to access my brother’s account though I was able to login to my account. When I try to enable fast user switching an error will appear. I tried to disable my fast switching but I won’t let me. My Window screen and fast switching disabled.

I just discovered that the pagefile.sys is on my drive E instead of drive C. Is this ok?
I'm just wondering, why this is located on my other drive and it consumes disk space.

My computer was severely infected and needed to be reinstalled.
While reinstalling Windows XP Service Pack 2 on my computer i ran into one major complication.
I was not able to copy the installation drives to my hard drive.
After doing some research, I read that the Intel Matrix Storage Drivers need to be installed prior to the installation using a Floppy Drive.
Unfortunately, the computer does not have a floppy drive nor do i have an external floppy drive.
I did some more research and read that it is possible to create a slipstream CD with the Intel Matrix Drivers incorporated with the operating system installation file.
I however could not find and do not know how to create a slip stream CD.

I’ve been receiving error on Windows XP “Stop: 0x0000000A” message during the installation of Windows XP. I’ve already checked my hardware compatibility with Windows XP. I try to verify my Hardware Compatibility List (HLC) in the site provided by Microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314062 my hardware is listed on the Windows XP HCL.
Is there any other option to solve this problem? I’ve been using Windows 7 starter before but decide to install XP. I read from the forum with similar issues and recommend in changing the BIOS or CMOS settings but that would be a risk for me since I’m not familiar with this.

There is something wrong with my computer resolution, so I decided to get some answer from the "Help and Support" but when I clicked on it, an error appeared".
"Windows cannot open Help and Support because a system service is not running. To fix this problem, start the service named 'Help and Support'."
What the heck! I’ve encountered another problem without solving the first one. I try to open it also in the RUN by typing Helpcty.exe and I get the same error. I didn't do anything that may have caused this error. As far as I remember I didn't do anything such as changing any configuration settings or some registry files.

I want to experiment something with my Windows XP. Everybody should notice this that in Internet Explorer when a pop-up is blocked or the Information bar is displayed for any reason Internet Explorer play the WAV file Windows XP Information Bar.wav/ Windows XP Pop-up Blocked.wav.
I wish to turn off the sound or maybe modify or change the sound into a different tone but with them same audio file extension (.wav). I just want to make fun with my Internet Explore.
Can this be done without going to the registry Editor?
