I have an Intel Pentium 4 PC and I am running window XP home edition on it. I am being teased by an issue which is my pc use to locks up exactly after the welcome screen. Mean, whenever I start my computer it locks up right after starting till welcome screen. I have tried all the tricks I know, to get rid of this problem but I am unable to fix it so far. While tying to fix this issue, I thought that this might be due to totally filled RAM memory with apps loading on system boot-up. And I freed-up the RAM memory but no success for me.

I have a Windows XP bootable CD. This is service pack 2 edition. I want to set up Windows XP with this CD.

But a problem occurred. I lost my serial key for this CD.

Right now I am not accessible to shop where I can buy a new CD.

Is there any way to setup windows XP with that CD without entering the serial key?

Can anyone help me to overcome this issue?

 Is there any solution as a result of F-10 pressing nothing happen?

I have some experience of some start up problems. Some times the system halt and appears a blue screen or may show nothing this is really frustrating for anyone.

I also have experienced this problems but i don't know about the reason of this problems. Why those happens can any one explain it to me?

Is it possible to skip this problem and regain access to my system? Or there is some other way to solve this problem?

Please tell me about those reasons and the remedy for this Start up problem. Its very important to me as i have to face this type of problem many times and i thought that it must be due to virus attack and had to format my system.

I am still in learning process of Dos and I am having an issue while preparing/creating a batch file. The issue I have is that I have developed a batch file, which has got the capability to find lots of file and can copy them into a specific patch/folder.

Whenever, I provide the input as a month in question it goes to find all file except .docx files. Mean my created batch file finds everything else a .docx file.

i have my own PC and i experienced that the PC become slow in some days after setup of operating system.

I mainly used Windows XP professional service pack 2 its seems to me that it become slow too quick but in Windows Seven its not that much quick.

Now my question is that what is the reasons behind this problem. There should be some good reason of this problem and what are the remedy of this problem.

I need to know because its really frustrating as i have a good configuration in my PC. Though i have a good configuration my PC gets slow so i need to know the reasons behind this problem and how to stop this to happen again.

 "Hal.dll is Missing" it is the message given when i get this trouble…

I know nothing about it  so how can i face it??

Its seems really frustrating and don't understand what to do I shut down my PC or what ???

i have heard that computer may at risk if we keep it in normal room's having no air conditioning system.

I want to know how much important is it??? Or is it really harmful for PC to keep in a non-Air conditioning room.

And if we keep it in a n air-conditioning room then what is the preferable temperature for the machine to work properly.

Another thing is that what kind of problem can occur if Air-conditioning is not available or not given to the machine.

I own my own PC but it is always kept in normal condition not in air conditioning system… so its really necessary for me to know how much risk is in there for my PC.

There is XP installed on my PC and I am having an issue with my videos folder. The issue which I am facing is, when I create a video my video folder does not open. Actually, I use to create videos with movie maker and as you know after creating or making movies the movie maker saves it automatically.
