My professor told me to have a research about WINDOWS XP operating system. Can someone there help me to have a BRIEF well explained Introduction of OS and something about windows XP.

I have a problem when I try to install windows XP. When I chose third party installation and then I click F6, but after that it is just showing an error message that "an unexpected error (1333750144) occured at line 1773 in d:xpsprtnbootsetuparcdisp.c".

I can't continue the installation. Please help me, because I have some work to do in XP.

What features are being enhance to this Windows OS making it much better than the others?

I am running Windows Media Center XP SP3, but whenever I tried  to launch Windows Media
Center, it opens then freezes with an error message:

" Application hasgenerated an exception that could not be handled. Process id =0xb54 (2900)
Thread id =0x824(2084)".

Any idea what seems to be the problem?

When I turn on my PC (running Windows XP service pack 2), after everything starts, I get a warning in the system tray that says “Your computer might be at risk, no firewall is turned on. Click on this balloon to fix the problem. ” I click the balloon, and the Windows security center says that my firewall is on and working fine.

 I’m not running any other firewall except Windows firewall.

Is this just something I have to live with? 

I have some my personal files and folders which are located in any drive and I am using Windows XP.

So I desire no other user can delete the files/folders. So there is any way to protect and safe them.

I am using Windows XP and as I begin the system, it hangs when starting up and while I’m using it thereafter.

If I begin in Safe Mode it performs well.

What is the problem with it?

I would like to share a problem of mine and get a suggestion from you. I have Windows XP on my PC. Whenever I try to do anything like play games, browse online, or work with documents, a notification appears on my screen. It is – DLL:/WINDOWS/system32/rasman.dll Bad image. I’d like a suggestion from you about solving this problem. I am not very good with these things. If it is possible to give a simple and understandable solution, it would be helpful to me. Thank you in advance.
