When I am attempting to transfer videos to Sound in MyDVD, I can’t because I faced with an error message which is:
Could not finished the last command because: Could not make a thumbnail. You have to ensure that the appropriate decoder have installed. (DVDErr, -47010)

I use MyDVD version 5.3.0. It was previously installed in my computer and the operating system of my computer is Windows XP Home Edition.
Please, I want a solution.

I found out that my Windows XP PC has a lot of issues. I have noticed under 'Documents and Settings' that my brother's account before was still there. This is quiet strange because he already reformatted his old Dell Dimension 5000. I browsed the 'Me' folder and discovered all his old files and wondered if the reformat had been successful at all because it was supposed to delete all his files.

The new format is for the ‘Me’ folder is under 'Administrator'. I made a quick scan on that folder and found out that there are 50 viruses on that certain folder. From that folder, I copied and saved our family pictures and some good music.

I have tried to do a search on some blogs and forums to see if anyone has a solution to my problem, but cannot find any useful and helpful article.  I have tried to play a media clip on Adobe Acrobat player but unable to get to play. By the way, I am using Windows XP SP3 x86.

The message I got initially said that “Warning: JavaScript Window- Acrobat has encountered an error while playing this medial clip: Adobe’s Windows build-in player cannot play this format as the required decoder is not installed on the system.

I am sure anyone has probably an easy to sort out answer for this one. If you’re quiet knowledgeable on this application, please help me. I am very grateful in advance for any help.

Hi. Can someone please help me in running Windows XP Video Decoder Checkup Utility? I keep getting an error when starting it. I did not set any administrative group and I am already logged in as the administrator of my computer. But the error is still showing. Does anyone here have an idea on what is happening? I’m in trouble right now, kindly please help me.

I am running Windows XP 32-Bit and I am the Administrator of this computer. 

The problem is when I tried to install a laptop printer, I always get an error.

I know that Windows XP doesn’t check for any rights before starting any installation. And maybe that is the reason for this error.

But how can I fix this? Help me please.

I have downloaded 3.5 netframework for Windows XP in order to run a game. While installing, it gives me the error message that “you must install windows installer 3.1 prior to the installation of Microsoft.net framework 3.5”. So when installing the windows installer 3.1 the system again comes up with the message that “system have newer service pack, there is no need to install”. I am using the windows XP service pack 3. Should I need to install the newer version of windows installer or should I download the latest version of Microsoft.net framework?

I am currently having Windows XP fully installed in the C-drive of my hard disk. To give a trial on Windows 8, I have downloaded a version of Windows 8 DP and successfully installed in the D-drive of the same hard disk of mine. As I installed Windows 8 DP, I was unable to boot into Windows XP hence using the repair mode, I could luckily boot into XP, but the same problem occurred for Win8 now.

Now I cannot boot into Win8. Please someone tell me how can I boot both the operating systems simultaneously using dual boot. I will be very thankful to be helped.

I installed BetaBrite Messaging Software so I can create and download LED sign.

When running the program, I got this Fatal Error #3. I tried re-installing the program and delete the Editor.ini file as stated on the instruction on how to resolve it.

However, I still get the same error message.

What should I do now? I’m running Windows XP Professional 32-bit OS.
