Thus I won't be able to receive information such as in debian. Any sort of alternative?

Will there be in any case to form this kind of setting remain for all file previews similar to the earlier variation?

Hello everyone.
I really need help with the Windows update page. Whenever I visit this page and click on the Scan for updates button I never get these updates and I can't download any of them. The percentage meter never moves even for a single percent and my updates are never checked.
Can someone please tell me what is the problem and how to fix it.

My computer restarts itself whenever I try to open it. It does not load the Windows operating system. Instead, it displays an error message saying that there must have been recent changes in my hardware or software, but as far as I know, I haven't done anything to it.
I have tried running the system in Safe Mode, but this does not solve the problem. What could be the problem, and how am I supposed to fix this? I'm guessing that this must be a BIOS problem. These are the specifications of my computer:
Operating system: Windows XP
System type: 32-bit
Processor: Intel Core i3 M 380 @2.53GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 2GB

I need some suggestions of you in a problem that I currently have. As I’m currently having an acer aspire and I have windows XP in it, I faced a problem while using arcsoft total media 3.5 in it. When I open it, I keep the message “device is not available or is in use by another application”..
To find out the real problem, I disabled and enabled all the services again. When I disable it, video works great but without sound. Because computer its self is having no sound. I would like to know if there is any way to turn on the audio through partition of the hard drive and installing another XP or linux which may enable the sound drivers.
