I have reformatted my Windows XP. Now, every time I am installing an application I am getting an error message that says, ‘the system is not modified’. If anybody knows this issue, please help me. Thanks in advance.

I am using an Acer 4730Z laptop and I am having issues with my network adapter. I keep getting a “network cable unplug” error. I checked on the back of my CPU, but all the cables are plugged correctly. I don’t know what else to do. I’m running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. I need to fix this so please help me.

When I save a document using an application program, such as MS Word, MS Excel, the file is automatically saved in My Documents folder, unless I choose a different location.

My documents is also a special folder on the desktop.

It is the standard folder of windows XP and is automatically installed. I want to change my doc file,

Default location.

Please help.

For a few days I got irritating error message. I don’t know how to fix it or where is the core of the problem. It all start a few days ago when I have installed an illegal version of a game and I can’t start it without errors. Now game is uninstalled and removed from the system. But the problem is still here?

On my new HDD I got Windows XP professional. Also I have downloaded all updates including SP2. I don’t know why, installation couldn’t be complete. When I start SP2 installation error message pop up. How can I fix this?

Hello! I am having problems with my Windows XP. I keep receiving error on my Taskbar that says, First of all, I don’t know what does lock your computer means. Does it mean I have to lock my user account and then unlock it with a password? I did not put any password on my Windows account. Secondly, what credentials are needed? Can someone please share some knowledge and explain this to me? I also hope that I can resolve this.

I am using Windows XP OS. My system RAM is 1GB and INTEL ATOM processor. i want my desktop including task bar, start menu exactly look like windows 7. And i also need gadgets for Windows XP which looks like a Windows 7 gadgets. I just need only the desktop which look like Windows 7 and not any other options. Is there any software for this or we can do it with settings?

After my PC was rebooted I faced the following message (Check the attachment). The dialogue box’s title is ‘Isass.exe Application Error’. It bears the message –

The instruction at ‘0xoo401082’ referenced memory at ‘0x00000000’. This memory could not be ‘written’.”

It is very normal for computers to face different kinds of problems for instance the ones shown in the message below. User init.exe, application error, the application failed to initialize properly, Check Ok to end this application, tasking .exe, application error, same message as user init.exe,.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close etc.

I am using Intel pentium 4. INtel Desktop Board D845GLLY. I am using windows XP. After set up I installed win2k_xp. I mean Intel Extreme Graphics Driver. Yet  I am facing a serious problem. When I play a high resolution movie, the screen become dark totally. Then I can hear the sound only. I have to restart the computer. Then everything is normal.If I wish to play again the same problem occurs. Now is there any solution for this problem?
