Recently I installed Windows XP Professional on my new Pc so that I could use it with my MT table, but there must be something I forgot to install because right now I am running into problems whenever I try to start the new CCV 1.4.1a. Here is the sequence of the events that have occurred since then. I have downloaded the binary and unpacked it and also downloaded and installed the “VS2008 Redist x86”, went to apple store and downloaded and installed quick time. So far none of this has solved the issue and am looking forward to your intervention. Thank you in advance.

I use Windows XP as my operating system. My problem is I don’t know what to do so I can have the “help and support option” that is missing to be showing up again in the start menu. Is this something related to the error showing “Cannot find helpctr.exe”? Anybody who has solved this same problem before? Please help.

Imagine you are employed by a company which has a dual – CPU system which runs on Windows XP Professional and you are to manage this system. Now imagine there are quite a number of programs which are running simultaneously and you are bothered by the effects on performance which is brought about by third party software services.

Now the big question is how will you distinguish between those Non-MS origin services from the rest of the programs, for aims of trouble shooting?

Requesting for your help please! In my PC, the Windows XP taskbar was originally positioned vertical left while the start menu icon was at the bottom left. However, due to an unknown reason, the taskbar‘s position became horizontal in the bottom on the screen. On the other hand, the start menu icon shifted to be vertical at the right side on the screen. How will I put them back to their right position?

I am having a problem with my computer. I restarted my computer as per instruction of Control Panel. After restarting It was fixed for a while. But, after some time it has restarted automatically. I also unchecked the System Failure Box but unfortunately when I went back to the options the unchecked box checked automatically. I don’t know what’s going on with my computer. Hello! I am having a trouble with creating folders in 'My Documents'. When I try to create a folder, an error message appears asking me to configure its emulator or its corresponding plug-in. I have tried configuring it but the program log tells me that updating of user configuration file has failed because access was not allowed. I am having a problem with my computer. Whenever I turn it on, an error message keeps on popping up saying “This application has failed to start because AegisE5.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem”, and the only way I could minimize it is through the Task Manager. I was hoping you could teach me where I can find AegisE5.dll and how I can reinstall it so that I’ll be able to fix it myself. I am looking forward to your response.

Hi! When I want to install a new application on my Windows XP with SP2 I’m getting a message that tells me I need to install .Net Framework 2.0. If I go to the Microsoft website, I have the option to download dotnetfx.exe.

Can anyone tell me if I need other files beside this one or if this application comes on the Windows XP install disk?
