Wireless Networking
I have an ADSL modem that I use with my friend at home. I have noticed that when I block my IP address from accessing a certain website, he will also not be able to access it. The same happens when he blocks a website. Why is this? Can we have two different IP addresses to access the internet independently but using the same modem?

I have just bought Chromecast and whenever I try to enter in the four-digit code that is displayed for it to connect, it fails to recognize my Wi-Fi completely. I am using a TP-Link TL-WR1043ND and I do not want to make new configuration settings before I know what the problem is. Can you help me find out its problem?

I do not know how or why this is happening, but I have a WiFi network stalking me everywhere I go. I have checked my phone and those around me but I cannot determine the source of the WiFi. There are no hotspots around and I understand there can be no hotspot with a similar name in my home, workplace, car and even my grandma’s house. My phone is Huawei Ascend. Please help

I have a lot of devices like laptops, tv's, phones. With kids using the internet all day long on these. Is there a way to monitor who and what is using all the bandwith instantly? And if possible a way to throttle back those streaming to much? Without having to slow down the devices by adding software to each one?

We have one main family internet connection without any restrictions. I would like to split off from that and have the kids go through a restricted access point. Is there a way to limit from the router what sites they can or can not go on? How to do this with a cable company internet service?

I was sitting here using my wireless network when it lost connection. Now the only connection I can see on the list is my neighbors. I have had to plug into my router and it works that way. How can I get my wireless connection back? What do I need to check first?

How many WPS connections can routers do at a given time? Is it possible to do a WPS based security connection to two devices simultaneously or is the connection alternatively? How safe is the WPS over the WPA encryption method and what may be some of the demerits of one over the other? I have noticed that many still use WPA despite the easier to operate WPS security.
