Wireless Networking
I have a wireless adapter USB that I would want to reduce the transmission beacons, what would be effects to the network in terms of performance and power consumption for the wireless adapter? How can I then save on power due to connections on a wireless adapter? what is the best transmission of beacons or should I just choose the default? I want to be able to save on power when the adapter is no linking up to the network.

In my area there are 10 wifi networks and I was primarily concerned about the frequency interface of the devices to other devices. Is it possible to change the frequency of a wifi network transmitter from 2.4Ghz to another value? How would you establish that another wireless signal is cause interference to your own network?

I purchased the D-Link Wi-Fi extender to amplify the signal since it was not reaching all areas of the house appropriately. It worked for around 4 days and afterwards, my tablet could not connect to WiFi anymore. I tried checking the router's logs and I found out that it was constantly assigning IPs. What might be causing such an issue?

I just managed to obtain an upgrade to fibre optics internet connection through my local ISP. Given that I have a large space to be covered, I am currently facing issues in terms of Wifi connectivity. Can anyone propose any solution to this particular problem? Also all rooms are separated by concrete walls, does this have any incidence on the quality of Wifi connections?
