Hello experts,
I recently visited someone who has a DSL connection with which I was unable to connect. I requested their ISP & even contacted the tech support person to change some settings on my laptop so that I could connect.
Now that I've gone back home, I'm reverting back to my wireless internet connection. I am able to browse the web but I can’t seem to use programs that access the internet (like Skype or Yousendit),
I error message keeps telling me that I have "no proxy" option selected in my network. I badly need to solve this problem. What steps do I need to follow? Please help me. Thanks in advance.

I have a Samsung HT C5900 3D 5.1 Home Cinema System and a Windows 7 Home Premium computer. The Cinema System is connected to the router using a RJ-45 cable, and the PC is connected to the network via 802.11n.
I have enabled file sharing between these two devices, so I can access my files and folders in the computer through the Cinema System and, in turn, watch movies on the television.
I have subscribed to ‘Love Film’ on YouTube, and it would be really cool if I can also watch these videos on my television. Do you guys have any idea on how doing this?

Recently installed a new Huawei dongle for broadband E173 used in Singapore. After installation, it disabled the existing firewall. Then it performs a LiveUpdate after being connected. Noticed data being sent out. Also noticed a file OUC.exe being installed and details of sites visited being logged.
Also, there is intermittent drop line. Prior to this broadband installation, firewall detected numerous access attempts from some China telecom company eg Zhejiang Telecom, etc. After this, none detected.
Also found OUC log of old sites visited.
Question:
1. Why firewall security is reduced/disabled?
2. What is LiveUpdate for?
3. What is OUC.exe for? (oh, you see?)

I am not able to determine how to work with the Cisco VPN client software on a Windows XP laptop.
As soon as I select on the shortcut to start the software, it gives an error message like this:
I have removed the particular program and after that installed it again. I have added a more recent version of the program, after which I uninstalled and re-installed the original version of the Cisco Client program, and still the issue has not been corrected.
Please help.

The Linksys software in my Laptop is not connecting with my wireless router WRt54G and software gives the message of no internet connectivity. This happens when I re-installed the Vista home and tries to configure it but none of the router ports light up except some other lights. I checked the cables and unplugged it all and pressed reset button but it still router does not configure with my laptop.
Why my router is connecting with my Laptop? Is Vista not properly re-installed or are there any other configured settings in it?

The latest Microsoft operating system has restricted access to wireless router.
I am currently using the latest operating system version of Microsoft and going online has been easy for me. When I decided to activate the protection settings of my wireless router, my computer suddenly cannot hook up to the connection.
I have other several devices like portable computers, another personal computer a gaming console and android mobile phones that can easily use the internet via the wireless router but one particular computer has restricted permission even if the signal it detects is strong. Can you please explain why this happened and how can I resolve this so that I can have this computer go online again?
