Hello,
I have a system using two different LAN cards.
The reason is that the system is connecting to two different IP schemes.
The first Ip is something like 10.0.x.x, being used for our universities local network.
The second IP is something like 192.X.X.X, which is being by me for my wireless internet, configured by the vendor.
Sometimes, it happens that suddenly my system refuse to connect to the internet and while opening my Internet explorer I receive the error that, “internet explorer cannot display the web page”.
When I click on the diagnose connection problem, it says that the dhcp is not enabled etc. etc.

Hello Everyone,
I have a WRT310N with a wireless Lenovo Laptop (windows 7) with wireless a/b/g/n and an older Desktop (windows XP) with a wireless B adapter (Linksys WUSB11). My Lenovo laptop can only get 54mbps of wireless speed while my windows XP gets 11mbps(i think this is limited using my wireless B adapter) using WEP 64bit password. According to my Cisco-Linksys router box, the speed can go up to 300mbps using WPA2. When i used WPA2, my windows XP desktop won't connect wirelessly.
Your Response is highly appreciated.

Wi-Fi consumes power whenever it is on. The older the Wi-Fi's network adapter is, the amount or usage is usually self-determining in the network traffic volume. Since, it keeps the Wi-Fi radio active at all times. What I want to know now is what are the several factors that can affect the battery life of my PC when Wi-Fi is active. Any ideas?

I heard that we can use Blackberry Smart phones as a modem to connect to internet, but i have not yet have the chance to try it before. Now i travel much and thought there might be a chance that i forgot to bring my modem with me and have to use my phone as a modem to connect to internet.
I have tried to set the connection by following the instruction in the Blackberry Desktop software in my laptop. I have connected my Blackberry to my laptop using data cable and choose set as modem. I have inserted my internet provider details that is used in my Blackberry. I set the connection and tried to connect but the respond is that the PPP setting is not correct.
Where can I find the setting for the PPP? What is the correct setting?
