Wireless Networking
My wireless router's power light keeps on blinking. It is doing that after every 30 seconds. The power light used to be steady and green before this happened. I don't know what to do.
I called support for the router but they declined to help me saying, I need to pay. My router is quite old. I don't want to invest on it anymore, since buying a new router is much more sensible.
What I would like is a simple work around that might help fix it.

Hi everyone,
I need help with my internet. It seems to disconnect, when I leave my laptop. What I usually do is, just leave it when I am done using it.
Earlier, whenever I come back to use it, I still had my internet working. However now, when I come back, It is not connected and I cannot browse the net.
I'm using a wireless connection and the router my brother is using, is just a few meters away.
Please help.

Hey there,
Can somebody help me, on how to get my wireless network working?
My wireless utility application got corrupted, so I uninstalled it. I later found out that I misplaced my wireless card CD, so I could not reinstall the utility.
I know Windows has its own utility but I could not find it on network connections. I know the wireless card works, since its blinking from time to time.
I'm using Windows XP Home Edition SP3.

Nowadays, wireless LAN is widely used, as it is very convenient for building a network easily, without managing physical cables.
So please, I want information as to what unauthorized actions might be committed easily, in a wireless LAN environment.
Thanks.
