1074118441 errors during an RFSA spectrum acquisition

My business is utilizing the 566x Vector Signal Analyzer to perform a spectrum acquisition. It usually works, but a couple of errors involving Digital Edge have been triggered recently:

Error -1074118441 occurred at niRFSA Read Power Spectrum (Cluster).vi
A possible reason (s): These kinds of errors are not supported when the acquisition type is set to spectrum.

Why do I receive this specific error?

1074118441 errors during an RFSA spectrum acquisition

Hi Damon,

This error happens because Spectrum Acquisition does not support any type of reference trigger. Spectrum acquisitions are operations that are continuous hence do not take reference triggers.

In this situation there are two option, either you will not use reference trigger or you can perform an IQ acquisition and use functions from the Spectral Measurement Toolkit to acquire IQ data.
