2 game pads on Wii U

If Wii U is to have 2 game pads, does this also imply that it will only work when used with a specific device?

Any limitations?

2 game pads on Wii U

 

No you cant. 

 

But You can use 2 keybords work separately like two different gamepads.  You can of course have more than one USB/Bluetooth keyboard, or a mixture of types including PS/2, but you'll have to use different regions of the keyboard.

2 game pads on Wii U

Hi there,

Upon looking in the matter, it turns out when speaking about the term "specific devices", the consoles a couple of devices.

They include,

The Wii Remote Plus, The Wii nunchuk and the Wii Balance Board along with the Wii U Pro Controller.

As limititations go, the console can support a maximum of two Wii U gamepads
