Hi There,
I am trying to use Microsoft Powertoys and keep getting error messages
290: AfterFX.exe – Application Error
The instruction at “0x10448c38” referenced memory at “0x0000154”. The memory could not be “read”.
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
Research on web tells that there could be possible background application, but I have none running. I am able to play for a few minutes, but later it just crashes.
Could this be my machine specific problem? Or do I have to install some software to avoid this error?
290: AfterFX.exe – Application Error
HI THERE STEVEKING.
You are actually right about saying that this error could be a cause of background application conflict. But looking at the error title which say's "290: AfterFX.exe – Application Error" the problem might be Adobe After Effects. If you have Adobe After Effects in your system try unstalling it and see if the error will still pop out. If the error still occurs here are some other solutions you might want to try:
– Try updating your video drivers to its latest version.
– If you have an OpenGL plug-in installed try removing it then after you update your video driver put it back again.
Hope this helps you.
