I made password reset disk on windows 7. Will it work on windows xp?

Will your password reset disk working on windows XP?

Obviously NO for the answer, your disk won't work.

 

Your idea to have windows 7 disk to reset password really good, it is extremely useful when you forgot your password,

You can reset the login password with no time.

 

I know it was really scary to forget login password for windows especially when you have lots of important data stored.

Unfortunately in your case, it won't work, but there is a possibility it will work if you have dual-boot between windows 7 and

Windows 7 professional XP version.

About password reset disk on windows 7??

Your Password Reset disk will not work one windows xp, as it made for windows 7, the xp will not detect this reset disk. You can make one more reset disk for xp.
