I share computer with my wife. Whenever I log off I keep on getting this error message saying “Access denied: flashget” I’m not very good with computers so these types of pop ups worry me.
This doesn’t happen to her when she logs off. Is it because she has administrator status? How can I get rid of this message? I really hope it isn't a virus. I was so irritated with it, I actually I took a picture. I hope you can help me out.

Access denied: Flashget, How can I get rid of it?
Hi, Aaron10,
No this is not a virus, and you have rightly diagnosed that this is a security / privilege issue. In order to resolve perform the following:
-
Go to My Computer > Program Files > FlashGet > Default.jcd.
-
Right Click on this, select properties, and from the top menu select security.
-
Edit Permissions for users and give full access to resolve this problem.

Access denied: Flashget, How can I get rid of it?
Hello Aaron,
Luckily this is not due to any virus. The main thing that has been causing this error message is the Rights that have been assigned to User accounts. The user account that you used to log in does not have sufficient rights/privileges to access FlashgetDefault.jcd file. You can have it resolved by any of these two solutions,
· Use administrator account to assign admin rights to the account on which you are facing this problem.
· On default.jcd file right click and choose properties, under security tab, edit permissions for user account you are facing problem on and give full access to it.
