Acrobat Entry Point Not Found When Using With MS Office 2016

When Acrobat launches, Acrobat entry point not found error occurs on Windows 7 SP1 computers with Office 2016 with the error message ‘The procedure entry point ucrtbase.terminate could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll.’ The problem occurs in the system because of the Office 2016 installation, as it does not always install the VS2015 runtime on Windows 7 computers.

If the user installs the VS2015 runtime manually, then the acrobat application will be opened without any error.

The steps to resolve the issue are to download and install Microsoft Visual C++ (x64) runtime.

To download the above-mentioned software program, visit Microsoft Download Center and download Microsoft Visual C++, then install the program by double-clicking on the file.
