Hi I am facing a severe problem with the Acronis as it is being failed in making the disc to lock and it is being occurred during the restoring of the image in WinPE.

Kindly provide me the solution for solving this problem.

Hi,

Acronis True Image Home has developed into one of the most famous and trustworthy suites for backing up and restoring user data. Version 2012 increases the functionality of the package by including file synchronization abilities and new options for the schedule module.

The Symptoms of this error message are:

User boot from WinPE based bootable media.

User tries to reinstate system disk image to original location from another local disk.

On ‘What to recover step of recovery’ wizard the following error arises: ‘Acronis failed to lock the disk’

This message can safely be ignored; it will not affect the final restoration result.
