AdCenter SQL 2008 Express R2 Won’t Run

I am trying to install AdCenter SQL 2008 Express R2 edition and I am constantly receiving error messages.

I have been trying to install AdCenter for quite some time while running Windows XP service pack 3. The installer installs most of the software but then an error message occurs stating that installation could not be completed, but then it still installs AdCenter. Everything goes well until I run AdCenter and get the following error that I am attaching here.

I have tried to install it using my own executable installer, but it has not helped either.

I have removed and reinstalled the installations of SQL and AdCenter and I have also edited the registry to remove all the instances of Microsoft SQL Server. I have also tried  removing the installed SQL programs file folder but still no luck on my part.

I am at a corporate location and I have removed my antivirus system and tried to install it through a firewall. The system works fine on windows 7 but does not work on windows XP. Please help. Thanks in advance.

I can’t seem to find the system requirements for this specific application to help determine if you are having an incompatibility problem on your computer. But anyway, if the application works perfectly well on a Windows 7 platform then maybe your operating system is really incompatible. Since you are using the Service Pack 3 of Windows XP, why not try downgrading it to Service Pack 2 and see if it works there.

You may also try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Any errors in the file system can cause problems to installation.
