Add homescreen shortcut to website using Nexus 5 with KitKat

Can any one tell me how to add a homescreen shortcut to a website? I am using Nexus 5 with KitKat and cant figure out how to do so.

Add homescreen shortcut to website using Nexus 5 with KitKat

It’s simply a drag ‘n’ drop work. Just do as I say.

1. First of all, bookmark your favorite website on your browser.

2. Return to the home screen and press-and-hold in a clean space to bring up the menu and choose “Shortcut” >> “Bookmark” and select the desired bookmark.

Done.
