Hello,

I need to install .Net Framework 3.5 on my Windows 8 and I have this error. I tried to install Framework manually and I have another error when I want to download the installer. Can anyone help me please to fix this error and install .Net Framework 3.5 ?

If you want to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, I don’t think it is possible on Microsoft Windows 8 because the operating system is not supported. Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 supports Windows XP and Windows Vista only for non-server Microsoft Windows. For servers, it supports Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008.

If you have a PC with Windows XP or Windows Vista or any of the mentioned servers, you can download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1. Because you are using the latest version of Microsoft Windows, you need to install the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework. Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 Offline Installer. It supports Windows Vista Service Pack 2, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, and Windows 8.

For servers, it supports Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, and Windows Server 2012.
