For Windows PC, try to rename the following folders:

C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesAdobeOOBE (for 64-bit OS)

Or

C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobeOOBE (for 32-bit OS)

C:Users(PCName)AppDataLocalAdobeOOBE

And then try to reinstall the Adobe Application Manager again.

Adobe Application Manager Download Error

If you are receiving this error after installing Adobe Application Manager, try installing the latest patch. Go to Adobe Application Manager Installer then download and install Adobe Application Manager. See if this works. If it doesn’t, try downloading a trial version of Adobe Photoshop. Also download Adobe Download Assistant. Though it’s not clear, downloading and installing the Adobe Download Assistant application solved the problem for some users.

If this doesn’t work, try renaming the OOBE folder. For Windows users, navigate to “C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobe” for 32-bit or “C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesAdobe” for 64-bit. Look for the folder labeled OOBE. Rename it, for example, “OOBE_backup”. After this, go to Adobe Application Manager Installer then download and install Adobe Application Manager. See if this fixes the problem.

For OS X users, click Go then press and hold on the Option key on your keyboard to display the Library folder. Once the Library folder is visible, navigate to “/Library/Application Support/Adobe”. Look for the folder labeled OOBE and rename it. Go to Adobe Application Manager for Macintosh then download and install it. See if this works.
