Hi there, I am a Windows user and lately I was trying to download adobe creative cloud on my PC as I have an account but it didn't work. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it hoping it would work but it didn't work. Why is this happening? Any help? Thanks!
Adobe Creative Cloud not installing
If you are having problems installing Adobe Creative Cloud, the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool can assist. This tool removes installation records of all previous installation tries.
The other thing to do is shut down Adobe processes that are still running in the background. There is normally an Adobe Acrobat Tray Process that still runs in the background, as well as Adobe Flash. Close your browser and stop the Adobe Acrobat Tray process, you will be able to install/update your Adobe Creative Cloud.
You can download the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool for Windows here
Follow these steps to run the installer
-
Once you have downloaded the program, double-click the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool folder
-
Double-click on the Win folder
-
Right-click on the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe file and select to Run the program as Administrator
-
Follow the instructions that appear onscreen to completely uninstall previous versions of Adobe Creative Cloud
-
Once the tool has finished cleaning, you will see a message “Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool completed successfully”
-
Click Enter and reboot your computer
Once done, please rename the OOBE folder from here:
C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesAdobe
C:Users(UserName)AppDataLocalAdobe
To OOBE.old
