Adobe illustrator CS3 13.0.1 Update failed to install

Hi fellows

I have been using Adobe Illustrator CS 3 and it has been running totally trouble free. Yesterday I tried to update it but unfortunately it didn’t worked and was not updated. The following error message popped up on my screen:

The message says:

Update did not worked

Adobe illustrator CS 3 13.0.1 Update failed to install

Can anyone please shed some light on this issue and give me a solution how to solve it? I'll be really obliged.

Adobe illustrator CS3 13.0.1 Update failed to install

Hallo Brian,

When you get that error, it is very possible that you could have removed, moved, or altered some files installed during the original installation. For instance, in case you removed or renamed the Read Me file for the CS3 application being updated, then you will possibly receive the error above when running an update for that application.
