Adobe Illustrator CS4 Tools are Missing

Hi. I am working with my Adobe Illustrator CS4. I opened a file for editing. But the tools just disappeared. The brush, palettes and everything is missing. And this error appeared with “The document “Print.ai” contains elements that are managed by plug-ins that are not currently available. You can delete or expand these elements but you cannot manipulate them in other ways. The missing plug-ins are listed below.” Adobe Art Brush Plugin (ArtOnPath.aip) Art Brush (ArtOnPath.aip) OK. How can I fix this?

Adobe Illustrator CS4 Tools are Missing

That error is common when you are attempting to open a file that has been made by another person, and it is on another computer that is using a plugin which in this case is called ArtOnPath, but then you do not have that  plug-in installed on your computer. You may choose to continue opening that file but the problem will be that the objects affected for that plugin will not show you the effect.

You may also need to check your system for registry errors and fix them. I will recommend that you download ccleaner and install it and use it to check and fix the registry errors that may be on your computer.
