Hi Friends,

I was using Adobe Encoder for one of my projects that suddenly an error message popped up on my screen.

The screenshot of the error is as follows:

Adobe Media Encoder Debug Event

Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an error.

[…SrcWinWinFiIe.cpp-785]

Continue

I'm really confused and worried as my project was about to end.

Does anybody have an answer to this and how it should be fixed?

Waiting for your suggestions thanking you in advance.

Regards

Daniel

Hallo Daniel,

  • You will need to click on the file that you working on when you got the error message, and then click Export – in file pull down menu and then click Media.
  • In the Export Settings dialog box, you will need to click Output Name, and then rename and location then Save.
  • After that click Ok on the Export settings dialog box.

Hi Daniel,

If you are using Adobe CS4, one reason of your problem could be an error on the audio track of your video. The best thing that you can do is to separate the audio track from the video and import them in Premier. And then export it using Adobe Media Encoder.

Another issue could be incompatible programs/codecs within your computer. If you have Quicktime installed, you can try to uninstall it and then encode again your video using Adobe Media Encoder. You can browse the thread in adobes forums to get more idea. https://adobeid-na1.services.adobe.com/renga-idprovider/pages/login?client_redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fims-na1.adobelogin.com%2Fims%2Fredirect%2Fforums2%3Fclient_redirect%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fforums.adobe.com%2Fadobe_login&client_id=forums2&scope=AdobeID%2Copenid%2Cadditional_info.screen_name%2Cupdate_profile.screen_name&display=web_v2&denied_callback=https%3A%2F%2Fims-na1.adobelogin.com%2Fims%2Fdenied%2Fforums2%3Fredirect_uri%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fforums.adobe.com%2Fadobe_login&flow_type=token&dc=false&callback=https%3A%2F%2Fims-na1.adobelogin.com%2Fims%2Fadobeid%2Fforums2%2FAdobeID%2Ftoken%3Fredirect_uri%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fforums.adobe.com%2Fadobe_login%3Freferer%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fforums.adobe.com%2Fwelcome&locale=en

Hope this helps,

Try restarting the computer. Click “Continue” then exit Adobe Media Encoder and then restart the computer. If this doesn’t work, run the program as administrator. Right-click Adobe Media Encoder then select “Run as administrator”. If this doesn’t work, try to uninstall and reinstall. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo then select Adobe Media Encoder among the applications and click “Uninstall”.

Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo Uninstaller then install Adobe Media Encoder back.
