Adobe Photoshop CS4 installation error

Hello

I am using windows 7 64 bit OS with a dual core3.0 processor.

Yesterday when I tried to install the adobe Photoshop CS4, I got an error and the installation failed.

The screenshot of the error is as follows:

The error says:

Adobe Photoshop CS4 Installer – Installation Error 

Installation Error

Installation of the following components has failed

Adobe Bridge CS4

Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64bit)

Adobe Photoshop CS4

To continue installing the remaining options, click Continue, To cancel this installation, click Quit.

Any suggestions in this regard will me most welcome. Looking forward to your suggestions.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 installation error

The installation error for your Adobe Photoshop CS4 can be fixed by deleting the folder for adobe and reinstalling the software again. You can go to start then click on run. Look for the “C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobe” folder then right click then choose delete folder. Alternatively, you can download the CS4InstallerDatabaseUtility.exe from a clean script found in the adobe website download section. Run the program as administrator then clean the files.

You can reinstall the Adobe Photoshop CS4 for your Windows 7 after doing these steps.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 installation error

I think some files are missing in the Adobe Photoshop CS4:

1. You can download that again and install that. 

2. You can use the upgrade version in your computer.

3. Use 32 bits and i think that will help you.

 

So try this and i think that will be good for you.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 installation error

It seems you have an incompatible operating system to run Adobe Photoshop CS4. Before installing any application, make sure your computer is fully compatible. Adobe Photoshop CS4 supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher 32-bit only and Windows Vista (Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise edition) Service Pack 1 or higher both 32-bit and 64-bit.

It requires at least 1.8 GHz or faster processor, 512 MB RAM, 1 GB free hard drive space, 1024 x 768 screen resolution, graphics adapter with OpenGL 2.0 and Shader Model 3.0 support, and optical drive. QuickTime 7.2 is required only for multimedia features. For Mac, it supports OS X 10.4.11 Tiger up to 10.5.4 Leopard.

Since you are using 64-bit Microsoft Windows 7, shift to Adobe Photoshop CS5 instead because it includes support for Microsoft Windows 7. Adobe Photoshop CS5 supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista (Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise edition) Service Pack 2 or higher, and Windows 7.
